C.C. Tellez is an accomplished distance runner from La Paz, Bolivia, who openly identifies as a lesbian. She is also a passionate advocate for LGBTQ+ inclusion in running and the founder of Lez Run Running Club. As Co-Race Director of the Philly Pride Run and a proud Ambassador for Athleteally, C.C. has been instrumental in promoting awareness, acceptance, and change in the running community.

Her efforts towards promoting inclusivity and non-binary inclusion have resulted in numerous races around the country adopting more inclusive policies, including the PDR, which is currently the only race in the world to offer equal prize money for all of its participants.

C.C.'s commitment to her community has been recognized with the 2017 William Way LGBT Community Center- Community Service Award and the 2018 OutProud award.

Through her advocacy and community involvement, C.C. strives to ensure that underrepresented athletes are seen, accounted for, and respected. She believes that visibility is the best way to combat discrimination and works tirelessly to promote awareness and acceptance.
