Josh Fernandez (they/them) is the Director of Queer Run in Philadelphia and is passionate about supporting queer running communities.

Josh enjoys uplifting and empowering LGBTQ+ runners so they can enjoy all of the benefits that running has to offer. Josh was one of the first non-binary runners to podium at a road race at the 2021 Philadelphia Distance Run. That moment inspired Josh to raise their voice for more non-binary inclusion in Philadelphia road racing as well as the larger running industry.

With 13 years of experience in strategic marketing and communications, Josh enjoys using words to make the world a better place one story at a time. When Josh isn’t running, they enjoy weightlifting, vegan cooking (but mostly vegan eating), Star Wars book club, their cats and countless cat memes.
