Zobel is from Brooklyn, NY, where they live with their partner and two cats.

They discovered their love for running in 2010, beginning with a local 5K, but quickly developed an interest in longer distances and eventually found their passion for running ultras. Despite living in a big city, Zobel enjoys exploring local trails in addition to their road running.

They also have a background in LGBTQ+ inclusion advocacy, and drawing from their own life as a non-binary runner, will do everything they can to help ensure we are able to live authentically as ourselves on the roads and trails – no matter the distance. When not running, you may find them knitting or going for long walks in the city.
